Taylor Kuhn '24 Recruiting Profile

Hello, my name is Taylor Kuhn. I have just completed my Senior year as Captain of Champion High School Girls Varsity Soccer team in Warren, Ohio.  I have been the starting Striker for our varsity soccer team all four seasons.  I have earned All-Conference, All-County, All-District, All-State and All-Region in my four years playing High School soccer. I was able to set six school records during my senior season with career and season high goals, assists, and points. I also compete for my club team, Soccer Vision Academy, and previously with Tri-State Elite (OH,PA,WV).  I start at Wing or OB for the 04 SVA team and striker for the 06 SVA team. I am well versed and comfortable at several positions, playing Outside Back, Wing, Outside Mid, Center Attacking Mid and Striker. I believe in being able to play any position that I am asked to play, excluding Keeper. I am driven, goal oriented and hard working. My Coaches have said I "have a motor that doesn't shut off, and the speed to pull away from, or catch, anyone." Academically, I am consistently on the Honor Roll, while enrolled in advanced level classes. My goal is to play soccer for a University or College, that has an excellent direct admit nursing program, and allows me to have a healthy academic/athletic balance. My priorities are my family, faith, school and soccer. I spend time volunteering in my community, and for my church. It is important to me to be a good person, student and teammate.
