Madeline Gardner '23 Recruiting Profile

I want to be a challenged and be a successful athlete and student in college. I love the team aspect of soccer and want to be a part of one in college. You will not see anyone that has more passion, grit and drive on and off the field. I always give 100% and pick up the team with the mentality I have to never give up. I'm very coachable and will always connect with my coaches and ask what I can do to improve; I simply want to be the best for the team and for my position. I have been voted captain for multiple seasons and am a natural leader and enjoy supporting my teammates and pushing them as well. I am a goal scoring machine, as a center forward, and I am not afraid to go against a larger girl because I am strong and can hold my ground. I can make things happen on the field, and will never give up.  I love taking people on 1v1 and turning with my back to goal.

I maintain a 4.0 GPA  and am currently taking classes to challenge myself - I love challenges.  I love challenging myself in the classroom with honors classes and will take AP classes my sophomore year, as well as my journey to becoming fluent in Spanish and take many volunteer opportunities.  I have been playing soccer my whole life, with phenomenal coaches and experiences that have taken me far. Soccer has truly transformed and taught me countless things, and I want to continue this journey as long as possible.
