Mary Shaughnessy '23 Recruiting Profile

I fell in love with water polo at a very young age while watching my Aunt play for Princeton. My mom told me that if I wanted to play I had to learn how to swim. I went through swim lessons and joined a swim team in third grade. Once I realized that the water polo players weren't touching the bottom of the pool it scared me off. I found my way back to the game freshman year. Since then I have continued to play waterpolo for high school and Club and I am very glad to have come back to my love of water polo.
