Personal Statement
My name is Campbell Page and I am 17 years old. I am 5'6 and weigh about 132 lbs. I am going to be a senior in the fall of 2020, I am currently taking AP classes with a weighted GPA of 3.31. My intentions are to attend a four year college to major in psychology, with an emphasis on sports psychology. Although Grants Pass is a small town in Southern Oregon with a high school soccer team that has not experienced much success I have been a staring varsity player since I was a freshman. I have been playing soccer since kindergarten. In recent years I have played for several competitive soccer clubs traveling throughout the state of Oregon, Washington, and Northern California and have trained with several high level coaches. I have been a starer and have played the majority of minutes in each game both for my competitive teams as well as my high school team. Although this has enabled me to be a leader both on and off the field my main focus is always supporting the team and building strong relationships. Because I have found that I am most comfortable and happiest on the soccer field I am always striving to improve by seeking additional training opportunities, working out to stay physically fit, and getting as many touches on the ball as much as I can to stay on the top of my game. My primary goal is to find a soccer program where I will have an opportunity to play, build my skills and learn from those around me.
