Personal Statement
I am looking forward to pursuing collegiate athletics as well as academics. I enjoy soccer because as I have learned from my high school coaches, it is much more than technical skills but also a mental game, both between the opponents involved in the game and the mindset of being part of a team. I am a competitive person and soccer gives me the opportunity to satisfy that desire. My coach has drilled into my team‘s head that competitiveness isn’t to be used only to beat others, but to push ourselves and teammates to the limits and make us better individually and as a whole.
