Personal Statement

I have been playing soccer since the age of three. Since then, my love for the sport has only grown. I have an extremely strong passion for soccer and I have devoted hundreds of hours into practicing and improving my skills. I have been a starting varsity athlete on my high school's soccer team since my freshman year of high school. My junior year of high school soccer I was voted team captain by my teammates. I have developed many methods from my experience to motivate and push my teammates towards success. I would love to carry my soccer career over into college, where I hope to become a key player on a college team just as I am on my high school team.

Are you in honor classes?

Yes. Currently I am enrolled in Calculus, Accounting, Forensics, and Advanced Sports Medicine. I plan on taking Advanced English IV, Spanish 3, Economics and Business Leadership. My junior year of high school I took Advanced English III, Advanced Chemistry, Math 112, Health Occupations 1, and American History Honors all for a college credit.

Awards and Activities

AwardsI have been awarded with a Certificate of Academic Excellence and two Academic Letters. Also, I have been awarded the Scholar Athlete Award eight times so far in my high school career, for maintaining a 3.5 GPA or higher during athletic seasons. I have also made Principal's Honor Roll multiple times.
ActivitiesI am apart of Mazama High School's FBLA program. I also volunteer my extra time to the SMART Reading program, reading to kindergartners and first graders at a local elementary school. I work part time at The Chicken Shack assisting customers with excellent customer service, preparing and delivering food, maintaining the cleanliness of the restaurant, and keeping the restaurant restocked with supplies.
