I'm the starting goalkeeper for the 2005 Portland Thorns Academy and my save percentage this season is 90%. I've been playing soccer since I was 5 years old and can't wait to hopefully play in college because I love the sport! As a well-rounded athlete, I contribute most to my team as a keeper because I'm a fierce competitor, naturally athletic, and a great communicator and organizer.
I have many strengths, both on and off the field, and these strengths will help me excel as a student-athlete in college. On the field, my biggest strengths are 1 on 1s, distribution, and communication. I'm also a great shot-stopper. Off the field, I have excellent time management and organizational skills, a very analytical mind, and I'm a great problem solver. Because of these qualities, I'm able to balance school and soccer while performing well in both.
After high school, I plan to attend a 4-year university and major in biology or chemistry on the pre-med track. After college, I want to attend medical school.
