Mexico Trip Highl...My love for soccer at the early age of 3 playing for my local recreation team Oak Hills Club in Portland, Oregon. This start and love at an early age led me to pursue playing competitively at the club level, ECNL and now GA playing one year up. I was the top goal scorer and assist taker for my club team PCU to win the Seattle Crossfire Tournament in 2022 and named offensive player of the year for my high school in 2024.
Soccer as a team sport has allowed me to understand the value of working together, hard work, being positive through any adversity and making everyone around me better. The most important part of my soccer journey was to have fun.
I currently play for Westside Metros 2008 Girls Academy as a starter (playing one year up), and my head coach is Lauren Prott. Coach Prott has taught me the skills necessary to play and train at the next level.
I primarily play striker and right wing but can play on either side, kick with both feet and initiate possession and attack. I quickly adapt to playing new positions – including playing attacking mid. I pride myself on passing to create opportunities for my teammates, dribbling, attacking the defender to get the opponents off-balance and creating space. My strengths are focusing on field vision, ball movement, accuracy, and spacing.
I also played futsal and was invited to play on the 2009 ECNL Boys for 6 months in 2023 to develop my game even further. I am one of the very few less than 1% originally from Sri Lanka (island nation close to India) who are playing at this level and would love to inspire other girls to play.
I also privately train with a professional soccer coach with 20 years of experience and current Chivas scout for North America (Jaime Ramos) and it has drastically improved my technical skills, speed of play, 1v1 defense, and instincts for scanning the field.
In addition, I work out at D-1 (nationally recognized program for D-1 athletes) with a performance trainer at least twice a week to improve my power, speed, agility, and strength while maintaining flexibility for injury-prevention. This has improved my confidence, and the results are noticeable on the field.

I look forward to the next chapter of my life which is college and will be ready to contribute to any soccer program. I balance my time with strong academic discipline, and my plan is to study business.
