Annabel Porter '25 Recruiting Profile

My name is Annabel Porter and I'm a goalkeeper in the class of 2025. I attend Lincoln high school, and am the starting keeper for the varsity team. I've been on the team since freshman year, as well as playing club soccer for United PDX. I'm a strong student, and am participating in the IB diploma program along withy athletics. I coach a number of younger kids, including three 2011 goalkeepers and a small group of 2009 keepers. I played for a smaller neighborhood club until 8th grade that consisted of all volunteer coaches, and it's important to me to be able to give back to the club that supported me so unconditionally for so much of my life, which is why I am committed to coaching. I am looking for a program/school that will both challenge me athletically and academically, and that creates a both competitive and compassionate culture. I believe that supporting your teammates both on and off the field is a hugely important piece of the game, and that being coachable is one of the most important qualities that a player can have. I'm looking forward to furthering my athletic and academic careers.
