Personal Statement

My name is Juliet Twemlow. I am a forward/midfielder from Kamloops, British Columbia Canada in the Class of 2027.  I'm a dual citizen of Canada and the United States. I was recently selected to the Canada Women's U-17 CONCACAF Provisional Squad.

The past three years I’ve had the privilege of competing at the highest level in British Columbia with Okanagan United Football Club in the BC Soccer Premier League, and invited to participate in BC Provincial Program Identification matches on three occasions this past spring 2024.

I moved to Portland in August 2024 to pursue my dream to play in the ECNL and am a starter on the Portland Thorns Academy G09 ECNL team. I also played with Lincoln High School’s Varsity Team as a starter this fall 2024 in the 6A interscholastic league.

My speed, work ethic, vision of the field and ability to confidently use both feet set me apart from other players. I love using my quick feet and fast acceleration to take 1v1’s while attacking and create scoring opportunities. I’m a very versatile player who is quick on transitions, a strong defender, and can easily adapt to new positions. My sportsmanship, commitment, and passion for the game make me an asset to any team.

This past year I’ve been fortunate enough to be a starter in the Northwest Surf Cup in Seattle, Dallas Cup in Texas, SC del Sol in Phoenix, and the Premier Spring Showcase in Vancouver, BC. This past December 2024 in the St. Louis ECNL Showcase I scored a goal and started every game. I just competed in the ECNL Phoenix Spring Showcase.

I am eager to start a conversation with you about how I can contribute to your team’s continued success. For further information please see my webpage at https://sites.google.com/view/juliettwemlowathleticbio/home?authuser=0 or YouTube: @JulietSoccer

I can be reached at [email protected] to speak more about my love for soccer and hopes to be play in university.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
