Angela Duncan '27 Recruiting Profile

My name is Angela Duncan, class of 2027 winger/forward. Soccer has been my passion since I was five years old, and throughout my life, I have consistently worked hard to be a better player. My goal for as long as I can remember has been to play soccer at the collegiate level. Throughout these past years, I have progressed from competitive teams to ECNL RL teams, to my current team, in the Girls Academy. High school soccer has helped me develop as a player greatly. Being an underclassman on Varsity and frequently playing with teams a few years older than me has helped me build my physicality and aggressiveness since most of my competitors are older than me. Club soccer has been one of the most important parts of my life since I started playing. I prioritize making every practice and game, bringing my positive attitude and desire to grow as a player while balancing my academics. I have maintained a 4.0 GPA throughout high school, and am taking AP Psychology. Additionally, I took Honors Lit & Comp, and Honors STEM Physics as a freshman. I have always played the 7/11, as well as the 2/3, and am very confident on the wing, with crossing and dribbling down the line. This year I started playing as a forward for my club team, and have improved greatly in many of the aspects of the game I had lacked before, and am now confident playing the 9 as well.
