Playing collegiate soccer has been a dream of mine ever since I was 7 years old. I've always wanted to play at a high level and continue to work hard and challenge myself so I can meet my goals. I'm currently playing with the Portland Thorns Academy ECNL team as a forward and midfielder.
I've also had some great international playing opportunities, including playing for the US Youth Futsal National Team in Argentina in 2019 and with the West Ham International Youth Academy in London in 2016. Getting to play internationally amongst the best players and coaches has been an amazing experience and has helped me develop both as a player and a person.
One thing that has set me apart from other players are my foot skills. I'm a creative and skillful player with excellent ball-handling abilities. I attribute a lot of my soccer development to the West Ham United Youth Academy in the Bay Area, where I trained for 5 years. During that period I learned a variety of technical skills, developed my soccer IQ, and became an overall better player. I continue to work hard and push myself to be the best player I can be. Some other qualities I have are leadership skills, confidence, and playmaking abilities. I also set high standards for my academics, taking AP classes to challenge myself and putting in the necessary work so I can get good grades. Recently, I joined the National Honor Society at my school so I can grow as a leader and a student.
Overall, my skills, playmaking abilities, experience, academics, and dedication make me a great candidate to be a student-athlete for collegiate soccer.
