Savannah Ryan '28 Recruiting Profile

            My name is Savannah (“Sav”) Ryan, my graduation year is 2028 at Westview High School. I grew up in Portland, Oregon and I play center back for Westside Metros Girls Academy 2010G.  My passion for soccer started at the age of 3 and it has impacted my life in many ways: physically, emotionally and mentally. My sport has taught me better discipline and to never give up.  

           Over the years, my dedication to soccer has grown.  From the age of 6, I have played club year-round and at 12 years old, I was invited to play up a year with the ECNL team later earning my starting position.  It was at this time that my truly competitive spirit came out for the sport, driving my commitment beyond the field.  I began dedicating hours each week to the weight room, 1:1 coaching, nutritional & mental training, referring and developing strategic tactics by watching videos at the college and professional level.

        When I join a team, I can guarantee 110% work ethic, a positive attitude and an excellent teammate.  I know that soccer will continue to shape the way for my future because it’s what I love to do. I’m excited to blend this passion for the game with my academic goals as I pursue my college goals.
