Emma Adams '25 Recruiting Profile

My name is Emma Adams and I am a senior at Salem Academy. I have been playing soccer since I was five. Soccer has always been a part of my life and I enjoy being able to have the opportunities I have been given to play. 

My primary position is Attacking Mid and my secondary position is Defensive Mid. Other positions I can play are Outside Mid and Forward.

I started playing competitively at CFC when I was in sixth grade before I took a two year break from the team. I have been on the varsity team as a starter since my freshman year. My position started as an outside mid and eventually, I became a center mid.

Soccer has given me lasting relationships and has taught me how to deal with hardships. When I play soccer, I feel a sense of peace and home. I love the game of soccer and the people I have met through it. Soccer has taught me valuable life lessons through my parents, friends, and coaches, and I’m very thankful for it.

For my academics, I want to major in biology so I can go on to study neuroscience to become a neuroscientist. I have always been interested in how the brain functions and how mental disorders and diseases affect the brain.
