My name is Marley Holden and I play soccer for Sisters High School in Sisters Oregon. I am a junior and already have three years of starting varsity experience. Freshman year I was awarded a second-team all-league award, In Sophmore year I also received a second-team all-league award, and this year I've been super busy and super successful with my team coming into a brand new league after the re-districting. We had a phenomenal season with an 11-0-3 record, 72 goals scored, 4 goals allowed, and #5 state ranking. Ending with winning Sky-Em Special District 3 League, I was in the top 10 leading goal scorers in the state with 22 goals and 9 assists, as well as getting a 1st Team All-League award, a Second-Team All-State award, and as well as making the Second-Team All-State team. I am just now starting my club season for Bent FC Thorns (BFCT). I started playing soccer when I was in elementary school and started playing for a club team in seventh grade. In eighth grade, I began to realize how serious I was about this sport and that's when I made a personal goal to play soccer at the collegiate level. Soccer has always been a large part of my life and going through all kinds of highs and lows with, and around this sport, made me realize that having the grit to continue to play at this level, shows my commitment and overall seriousness.
