Personal Statement

My name is Emily Boyer.  I am a freshman, at Twin Valley High School in Elverson, PA, and I will graduate in the class of 2028. I play my club soccer at Reading Rage Surf ECNL-RL. I am a talented, hardworking, and versatile midfielder with the ability to play multiple positions.   My work ethic, intensity and focus separate me from my peers. My work ethic, technical ability, physical strength and focus on getting better every day has allowed me not only to compete with older girls but excel in doing so.  I have been a “starter” and a “primary” player at all levels I have played on including elite/premier club, High School and Middle School.  Academically my profile matches my athletic tendencies.  I am hard worker with a focus on obtaining and maintaining a high level of academic achievement.  My current GPA is 4.05.  When not on the pitch I enjoy spending time with my family, friends and being active in my church and community.  Additionally, I’m a two-sport athlete actively involved and excelling at lacrosse.  

Everything I do is with 100% effort.  Whether that is on the pitch, in the classroom or in the weight room. I want to go as far as I can in my soccer career, and I am willing to put in the work it takes to get there.

Throughout my soccer career, I feel like the strongest part of my game is my vision and key understanding of what's occurring in the game. I am big on communication and express my opinions and ideas consistently.
