Personal Statement
I consider myself an all around player that works hard on and off the field. I strive to improve athletically and also push myself in the classroom , taking AP and Honors classes. I am involved in many clubs including Peer Helping Network and Student Council. These clubs teach me how to help others and work as a team to accomplish a goal, key qualities an athlete needs to be great. It also demonstrates that I can excel in my classes while having many other responsibilities, proving my ability to be a well rounded student-athlete.
Soccer not only tests your athletic ability, but it is also a game of mentality. You have to be smart on the ball, knowing when to shoot or set up players for next option, finding and cutting off space, and understanding of the overall game itself. Being aggressive defending and offending and never being afraid of a challenge is a major point in the game too. I am constantly improving and working on all of these areas of the game, making me a great asset to have on the field.
I'm proud of the accolades I've achieved over these past years, including playing varsity since freshman year, receiving the first team all division freshmen and sophomore year, all-tournament Most Valuable Player, All-Scholastic Herald news, and winning two state championships.
My overall goal is to continue playing soccer at the college level, playing & enjoying the sport I love !
