Ashley Simmons '25 Recruiting Profile

Hi, my name is Ashley Simmons and I am a junior at Chariho High School. I have played soccer since I was 4 at many different levels including: recreational, town, and competitive. Currently, I play competitively for Surf RI G2007 Elite White team and for Chariho Girl's D1 Varsity program. I have played with the Varsity team since my freshman year when the team was D2. We had an undefeated season and won the D2 State Championship. I also have run track since 6th grade, competing in a range of events. In the past year I have settled on the 400m, 200m, and high jump as my main events. Academically, I have taken all honors classes and am currently in two AP classes. I work hard to maintain good grades and athletic ability, while preserving a social life with friends, family, and teammates. I like to keep busy by playing soccer with my High School team in the Summer and Fall and by playing club in the Winter and Spring (track in Spring as well). I worked in restaurants for the past two years, babysitting for two little girls that live nearby, and cat-sitting for my neighbor. My family life revolves around soccer with my older and younger sister playing competitively as well. My older sister is currently in her sophomore year of college at Emmanuel playing D3 NCAA soccer.
