Gwendolyn Townsend '23 Recruiting Profile

I have been playing soccer since I was 5 years old. This sport has been great for me and I’ve developed into strong player both physically and mentally. I’m currently a varsity starter for my high school at right back   I consider myself a complete team player and play the same position for my club team.  My club team has won the SC State Cup for 3 straight years and in 2019 I was selected as GPS Coastal Player of the Year. 

It is a goal of mine to use both my talent and ability to be a successful collegiate player.  My strengths are my explosive speed and power.  I am hoping I can find the right opportunity at a good school.   I would appreciate your consideration in your recruitment.
