Mia Wilson '29 Recruiting Profile

Dear Coaches, 

My name is Mia Wilson, and I've been passionate about soccer since I first stepped onto the field at age six. I currently play as an attacking center-mid after recently transitioning from center back. My background as a defender gives me strong defensive awareness and keeping composure under pressure. I compete two age groups up, playing on a 2009 team as a 2011. Competing two age groups up has helped me develop faster physically, technically, and mentally while building confidence against older, more experienced players. 

Over the past year, I've scored at least 5 goals as a defender, including the game-winning goal in the State Cup final. Our team also advanced to Regionals this year, which gave me valuable experience playing against top-level competition.

I'm a focused, reliable player who communicates well, stays composed under pressure, and works hard every day to improve. Off the field, I'm just as committed to my academics and strive to be the best student-athlete I can be. I'm excited for the opportunity to continue challenging myself in college, contribute to a strong soccer program, and grow both on and off the field.
