Joey Munn '27 Recruiting Profile

My name is Joey Munn, I'm a 2027 graduate at Ashley Ridge High School in Summerville, South Carolina, where I have a 4.519 GPA. I love soccer and I have been playing since I was 4. My primary positions are center back and center defensive midfield. Growing up in a military family, I have learned the value of family, self confidence, and hard work. Moving around every few years, I have had to adapt to new schools and tryout for new soccer teams. It hasn't always been easy, but I believed in myself and my family has supported me and been a huge help in keeping me steady. Watching my dad serve our country, I've learned what it means to be dedicated and have a strong work ethic. I try to follow his example and work hard to be the best player and teammate I can be. Outside of soccer I enjoy all things related to cars. I don't know a lot, but I'm learning and I enjoy working on them. I love going to dirt race tracks. Dirt late model racecars are my favorite to watch. I also enjoy drawing and cooking in my free time. My goal is to play college soccer while earning a degree in psychology. After I've played my last game, I'm considering going in to coaching. I want to help those that come after me.
