Kylea Heath '20 Recruiting Profile

I have been lucky enough to be able to play the sport that I love at a high level for several years.  My parents have sacrificed a lot to make certain that I have received the best training and have been able to develop in one of the top clubs in the south.  In order to receive the top level of development, we chose Tennessee Soccer Club even though it was a 2 hour drive for training 3-4 days a week.  I have worked my way from the lower recreation/division III teams up to the Division I Showcase team.  I am proud to say that I have never given up even when circumstances made it feel like progress was impossible.  I am now one of the top goalkeepers in my club.

Although playing soccer is my passion, I have never forgotten the importance of education. I work as hard in the classroom as I do on the field and in the gym.  My priority has always been to be successful as a student first.  With that attitude and a commitment to excellence, I have continued to maintain a 4.0 GPA and perfect attendance so far through high school. 

I believe that I will be a valuable recruit to the college soccer program that selects me because I am always striving to improve.  I am constantly working to get better at everything I do whether it is as a goalkeeper, a teammate, or a student. I look at each challenge and every failure as an opportunity to grow.  I will always bring with me a positive attitude,  mental toughness, and an unbeatable work ethic.
