In school right now, I am taking architecture and engineering. I am in advanced math (pre-calculus as a sophomore) and love science, so I think it is a good combination of my smarts and interests. I am in Honors and AP classes and am an A student. For soccer, I am a versatile player. I have been mostly playing midfield on my current team, but have been moved around a lot especially on my school team. I am good at seeing the field, and I am also good at directing and communicating. This season I was a starter and Captain at school. Another thing that I take pride in is my sportsmanship. Though I am competitive and want to win, the players should be treated fairly and respectfully, along with refs and coaches. I am easy to get along with and make friends easily. I have come a long way in soccer. I have played since a little girl, but had a bump in middle school when I was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes. I did not add this to make you feel pity for me, because I don't need it, but to show my growth and my ability to overcome challenges. I had to work twice as hard to regain my health and muscles, and it has made me a more motivated player. I love playing soccer, and hope that I can keep doing it along with my academic career in college.
