Reagan Whitledge '27 Recruiting Profile

In every aspect of my life, the thirst for competition and the drive to succeed has been my biggest motivator.  As a future college student athlete, I am focused today on making personal improvements that will allow me to compete at the highest college level and for the USA Women’s National team.  I am a confident player that primarily plays in the #9 or #10 positions. Moreover, I am aggressive in any 1v1 setting which allows me to also play the #7 and #11 with confidence. I have some natural physical attributes that already set me apart from my competition, which include my speed, strength, size and agility.  I work daily, both independently and with trainers, to improve the skills that don’t come naturally, such as first touch mastering and dribbling in tight areas. With continued work, I hope to make steps towards the next level of play.  

 I have played Club soccer for Odyssey Soccer Club in Martin, Tennessee for five years and I played for Martin Middle School during my 6^th and 7^th grade years as a starter, earning awards for Offensive MVP and Hustle.  In August of 2022, I will begin my 8^th grade year with University School of Jackson and I will be playing for the USJ Middle School Bruins team.  I will also be playing for the 2009 Lady Lobos Rush Elite 64 team out of Memphis, Tennessee and I continue to play with a local 3v3 team called Gunpowder & Lead, which won the National Championship in 2022. 

 My goal is to find a competitive collegiate program that will continue to challenge me and provide a pathway to soccer opportunities even beyond the collegiate level.
