My name is Gianna Barnes, and I am a 16-year-old junior at Grace Christian Academy in Knoxville, Tennessee. My family and I relocated to Tennessee from California in September 2024. Before our move, I played for the San Juan Soccer Club in Rancho Cordova, California. I have been passionate about soccer since I started playing at the age of 4 and have competed at the club level since I was 6 years old.
Currently, I play for the '09 FC Alliance - ECNL RL team as an outside forward and outside back, and I am comfortable playing on both sides of the field. I love competing and cherish the opportunity to be part of a team where athletes push each other to achieve their best every day. My ultimate goal is to play soccer at the collegiate level. To achieve this, I am committed to improving my technical skills, deepening my understanding of the game, and developing my leadership abilities both on and off the field.
In addition to soccer, I have been a multi-sport athlete. Before moving to Tennessee, I played quarterback for a flag football team and competed in softball. These experiences have taught me the importance of perseverance, hard work, and teamwork. I pride myself on being the hardest worker on the field while uplifting those around me and being the best teammate possible.
I would love the opportunity to discuss my experiences, goals, and aspirations with you while learning more about your soccer program. If you're available, please let me know! Additionally, I would appreciate any information about upcoming tournaments, showcases, or ID camps where we might connect in person.
You can reach me at (916) 862-0408 or via email at [email protected]. Thank you so much for taking the time to review my profile. I look forward to speaking with you soon!
Thank you,
Gianna Barnes
