Hannah Morton '20 Recruiting Profile

Please consider me for your team!  I am hard working, coachable, and enjoy my team a lot!  I plan to study Psychology with a Neuroscience Minor or Major in Neuroscience.  I love to travel and have been traveling with my family since I was very young.  My Dad and Mom have taken me to many countries in Europe and in the U.S and Canada.  I know how to 'go with the flow' on a team and work hard to achieve our team goals.  Know when to talk and when to be quiet. I  respect authority, including our Referees even when we may not agree.

I am a utility player.  My club coaches have played me in many positions since I started playing soccer.  I was always a forward and striker with a great ability to score.  Over the years, my coaches have strategized their wins by moving players and this provided an opportunity to play as a Right Back and Attacking Mid.  As a Right Back, my quick speed and burst of speed came in handy to outrun the defense to make a cross or to score.  My current coach recently added me to the forwards to help win games and I have scored in every game since the start of this season in January, 2018.  I have also played as a wing and Defensive Mid.

I love my coaches!  All of my club coaches have been different and I respect and admire all of them. My high school coaches are great and I have learned a lot from them.  I am a Forward on my high school team.  I achieved highest scorer and Best Offensive Player both freshman and sophomore years.  I helped my team win the state championship freshman year 2016-2017.  I also achieved All-Region both freshman and sophomore years and All-STATE sophomore year. My high school GPA is 3.8 and my first SAT scores were 550 in Math and Reading.  I have a plan to improve and take SAT's again.  I have been on the ODP First Team for the last 3 years and invited to Region Camps.

My high school team nominated me for Captain 2018-2019 and I have helped form our overnight team building camps.  Please reach out.  My other passions are playing the piano.  After 7 years of lessons and recitals, I had to retire the piano for my soccer ball but I still play whenever I have the chance and mostly at Christmas Parties.
