I have always had a drive and passion to play soccer. I began playing soccer at the age of 4, ever since then I have played club soccer, and when it came time, I took every opportunity I had to play school soccer. In my high school years, I have played varsity all 3 years of my high school career and have been awarded with an all-tournament award, a top scorer award, and finally an athletic scholar award. Throughout my years as an athlete, I have switched through many positions, but out of them all, outside midfielder has continued to stick with me. Being on the outside, I get to take the opportunity to score and I'm opened up to the ability to cooperate with my teammates, creating a communicative environment among my team. I want to set high standards for myself and I strongly desire to be a student athlete who is coachable and hardworking, and a good teammate on and off the field.
While soccer has always been my passion, school has remained one of the most important things in my life. I have pushed myself to take higher level classes such as honors and dual enrollment and have continued to maintain a 4.0 GPA, with a 26 on my ACT. My personal goal is to improve my ACT to at least a 30 to open more doors for me in my future as a college student. I strive to better myself as a athlete, but more important a student because in the end, education is what is most important to me.
