Personal Statement

Hi coaches, I'm Avery.

I'm a 2026 GK playing up on HTX Woodlands 05 Gold team (U19). I may be the youngest on my team, but I've learned to grow and thrive under pressure and take command of the pitch. I'm a leader on the field and in the classroom, taking honors courses with a 3.9 GPA. In addition to playing club, I'm an incoming junior and GK for Conroe HS Varsity soccer. I was named Academic All-District as a sophomore and my freshman year on JV, I was named Team MVP and All-A Honor Roll. My coaches and teammates describe me as dependable, hard working, competitive, and mentally and physically tough. I hope to attend a 4-year university that provides opportunities to help me grow as a person and a player. I want to major in kinesiology and see myself as a coach or team trainer in the future. I’m open to all opportunities that can help me grow academically and as a player.

Texas College ID Camp, sponsored by Albion Hurricanes FC. Camp Times: 5-7P (Freshman & Sophomore) | 7:15-9:15P (Junior & Seniors) The two (2) hour session will consist of small group training with multiple staff coaches followed by 7v7 or 11v11 games in which teams will be coached by our college staff. Players will be assigned to 'teams' and given numbers to be worn throughout the session to assist staff in the evaluation process. Additionally, all college coaches will be given team rosters, with individual player information and shirt numbers, to help track players throughout the camp and their club teams throughout the tournament.
