Personal Statement

Hey coaches,

I am Micaelyn Carstens, but friends call me Mac. I am a crazy, happy girl who turns into a savage on the field. Most think I never talk, but then soon realize I never stop talking. The soccer field is a place where I can unleash my creativity: to help my team, to help others succeed, and to respect the beautiful game. There is always a way to connect a pass or create a shot if you use your imagination and vision.

I am extremely focused and grind hard to always be better in the classroom and on the field. I will be be all in and hope to graduate earning your trust as a friend, classmate and teammate for the rest of our lives.

I bleed Chelsea blue, and my favorite players are Mason Mount and Paulo Dybala. KTBFFH!
