Personal Statement

Hi! My name is Olivia Chow-Gillette, and I am a 2023 graduate from Dallas, TX.  I attend the School for the Talented and Gifted Magnet at Townview, and I currently have a 4.2 GPA in a rigorous AP schedule.  I am interested in studying Biology/Biochemistry in college, and I’m currently working this summer in a basic science cardiology lab at UT Southwestern. On the soccer field I  have an attacking mindset and am always looking to play the through-ball or attack the goal. I have played soccer at Bryan Adams HS as a varsity starter since freshman year as an attacking mid; I have made all-district every year (first team all-district and team MVP). For my club team, Dallas Texans Central NL, I play mostly left outside mid/forward. We have been the top team in the Frontier Conference and qualified for the Southern Regional Championships and NL P.R.O. two years in a row. My strengths as a player are my ability to play equally with both feet, my speed, field vision and unselfish play.
