Nadia Marquez '27 Recruiting Profile

Hello, I am Nadia Marquez. I am currently a sophomore at John L. Chapin High school. I am a positive, open minded, risky, (because I believe in taking risks; for good things obviously), happy, understanding, caring, truthful and funny character. Many of my interests are music, martial arts and wresting, art, outer-space, law, baking, acting, and interior architecture. Over time, I have stretched the depths of my own mind, becoming open as much as possible to new concepts and people. I am not afraid to be myself, and expose myself unto others. because I believe many people deserve open, funny, and contagious people to spread not only positivity and motivation but also expose a sense of vision and purpose. I want to be as impactful as ever, even beyond the realm of soccer and other sports. I have dedication in myself that I can do anything, even be a D1 soccer player or even to go professional as long as put my emphasis and hard work and dedication into it. I can also learn things fairly quickly! What makes me a good candidate for your team is that I have the ability to communicate and be positive for the team, I can execute 1v1's, a cross in, pass, or goal. I also know the game well, using my intelligence on the field. What makes me different from the other recruits is that I have the ability to be creative with my abilities, I also put in as much effort needed to inspire and keep momentum going for my team, so we can accomplish our goals. I am educationally fit for any school I believe, I will gladly keep working hard for that. I am not too flashy with my soccer skills, but I can be at times, because that's just how I am. Hopefully I can be able to show more off as I am not afraid to try these moves. And hopefully I can execute them correctly. But if I can't and I know that I can't yet, I won't use them. I know that I am small, and I full heartedly acknowledge and except these terms, as I can not change myself to fit to the ideal criteria of an athlete, I may be small, but I am fast and quick on my feet, and I am not afraid to get aggressive, and most of all I am not afraid of any taller or bigger players. Because to me, we all have to face those kinds of people in some point in our careers, so we except and attack the challenge and not run away from it. I am mostly wanting to study criminology in order to become a detective, but that will all depend on how I feel when I do start studying it. If not, I have some other things in mind, including exploring the entertainment field, (I believe I was made for that but I have to keep things realistic for now, just for now. I don't know, maybe I will become an actor or pursue the professional soccer player idea, who knows.) I also will like to stretch the boundaries of the locations of these Universities and colleges, something outside of Texas. Oh how I love Texas, my home, but despite my love for it, I want to reach out to greater heights, to greater distances. Anything from the western Coast to the southeast to the east coast to the eastern. (so I can use an airplane to fly back home), just kidding! I'd rather take a long, and fun roadtrip. But, I hope to whichever University or college acknowledges and accepts me, that I will make a great impact for them in the future, and not let any of them down.
