Growing up in the family I did made me extremely competitive. I always wanted to be the best. It is the drive that pushes me to work as hard as I do and being in a competitive environment is where I thrive. 

This makes me a strong candidate not only in sports but in academics because I will push myself to succeed and give my best effort.

But, it is not just my competitive nature that feeds this drive. I am also stubborn in the way that I refuse to give up and fail.

My tenacious and outgoing personality will make me not only a good teammate but also a good peer at any college I go to.
