Karla Rodríguez '21 Recruiting Profile

   My name is Karla Rodriguez, and I have been playing soccer since I was four years old. While playing, I have been able to go to showcases to ID soccer camp and invitations to play with soccer college girls like Angelina College, Blinn College, and Jarvis Christian College. These games were very important to me because I had the experience with the college ball.

    My collegiate goal is to attend an University where I can prepare my self to become a veterinarian or another career I want to pursue in life when I grow up, but at the same time I want to join a soccer team to continue playing my favorite sport.  My aspiration is to become a professional soccer player in the United States Women's National Team. I know that is a big dream, but anything is possible.

    What makes me a good candidate for a team is that I am strong minded, very passionate, and my communication skills.  As a leader, I feel that I need to push people to do their best, be a hard worker, and never get defeated if we lose a game.  I build good relationships with team members, I tell them we always learn from our mistakes to make us stronger to work hard and improve.
