McKenzie Betancur '19 Recruiting Profile

I've played soccer since age 4 and am dedicated to continuing through college. I play Left wing for both my High school and Club teams. My speed, agility and overall stamina match well with my position as a winger.

I completed my Freshman, Sophomore and Junior years of High School as a starter on the Varsity team, team captain for two years and have led my team in Assists,  SOG and Goals for two of my three years. We qualified for play-offs the past two years and I was honored to be awarded FIRST TEAM ALL-REGION this year & All-District Honors the past three years.

I am looking forward to a great Senior year and the ability to help my team to continue to improve and compete deeper into the play-offs.

I am completing in my seventh (7th) year with FCDallas and playing on the U18/U19 ECNL team . I was team captain and top scorer in 2012, 2013, 2014, 2016, 2nd in 2015, and led my team in assists all of the past seven (7) years.   I'm looking forward to continued growth as I enter my Senior year and my journey towards collegiate competition.

I pride myself on leading by example in showing my commitment, passion, intensity and being an impact player on the field as well as loyalty and striving to be my best at everything I do.  I am looking forward to continued growth as I enter my Senior year.

While in Middle School I achieved multiple Track & Field District Wins and set two school records in the 2400M and 800M (my 800M time remains unbeaten in our district).  I was also an AAU National Junior Olympic qualifier in the 800M and I intend to compete in the 800M as a Senior in hopes of making State!
