Personal Statement
I feel I grew the most as a student-athlete my sophomore year when I made varsity my sophomore year. That experience and opportunity helped me grow as a person and lead me to re-focus my own efforts on becoming a better athlete and all around teammate. I was fortunate enough to be given the opportunity to play club on a scholarship as my family couldn't afford it growing up. I learned the value of commitment, sacrifice, to earn and work for the things I want. I'm looking for a program that will be a good fit for me athletically as well as academically. I believe I not only have the talent to compete for a college team, but the character, work-ethic, positivity, and dedication to make an impact on your program. I am willing to learn and listen to new techniques to make me a better player. I am a very driven person when it comes to achieving any goals. I want to attend a college where I can help my team build towards a championship. Relationships matter to me, so I hope to create lifelong relationships with my coach, teammates, and other like-minded college students.
