Lillian Penrod '23 Recruiting Profile

As someone who has invested their life and adolescence into a certain sport, I have confidence in saying I have learned many valuable lessons from it on and off the field.  Soccer has taught me to set goals and make healthy habits and boundaries in order to achieve them.  Whether it is working on my own, extra fitness or studying the game, I enjoy the satisfaction of reaching these milestones in my life.  I am looking forward   to playing at a collegiate level in order to continue to enjoy the game and seek growth as an individual player and teammate.  I have also learned the importance of collaboration which is where I communicate positively with my teammates or give valuable feedback in order to enhance my team’s full potential. I have been lucky enough to accomplish many individual and team goals. I am also one who is very coachable in the sense where I see criticism as an opportunity for improvement.  

This past High School season I was awarded First Team All State, Academic All State, First Team All District and Offensive MVP of our State Championship team.

I am also very interested in the business and communication fields as I love working with others in order to solve problems and help others accomplish their ambitions.
