Sadie Rios '24 Recruiting Profile

I am excited for my future and hope to continue my soccer career through college. As a center mid and a center defender I am both aggressive with the ball and intentional with placement. Soccer plays a huge role in my life and I have a goal of keeping it that way.

From attending numerous soccer camps for multiple years I have learned how to grow familiar with college campuses, programs and environments. My soccer resume includes eight years with Alamo Height Fort Sam Houston, and varsity soccer since freshman year - Division 1. (All district and All State all three years  _Tapps.biz.) I've had the privilege to be a soccer captain for 2 years and will continue to fulfill this role my senior school year. As well as athletically I have also had success academically and have multiple achievements such as being a student ambassador for my school, having honor roll recognition and achieving the right to represent National Honor Society.

When looking to commit I not only strive for a good soccer program but a good education where I can carry out a major of my choice. Attending college will be a huge step, but going to college and participating in a sport would be a great accomplishment. With everything I do both on and off the field I want to make things different in a positive way with my attitude and my ideas in order to benefit others and my future self.
