I am the 3rd of 3 kids in my family who have all been dedicated to academics and athletics. I have played soccer since I could walk. I learned to walk on a soccer field. I can even remember the day I approached Jorge Vela and asked him to teach me to become a goalkeeper. I knew what position I wanted to play. I fell in love.
My passion for soccer has driven me to volunteer at our local youth soccer organization GRAYSA as a youth coach for the last 4 seasons. I look forward to many more seasons of coaching and even getting a coaching license when I am old enough. I also wanted to understand the game from the referee perspective so I got my grassroots referee license through South Texas soccer.
I work during the summer as a ride attendant at Schlitterbahn sometimes as many as 40 hours a week while continuing my summer training through strength and conditioning classes and private sessions.
Despite being diagnosed with dyslexia in the fall of my sophomore year, I still maintained a 3.9 GPA in rigorous classes.
I am a passionate Formula 1 racing fan. I would like to go into Business marketing in sports.
