Good day coaches, my name is Fernanda and I will graduate in 2027 in The Woodlands High School in Houston, Texas! My family currently lives in Houston and we love to travel. I was born in Portugal in the Island of Açores, São Miguel the country where Cristiano Ronaldo was born. All of my family lives in Chile and I love visiting them during the Christmas holidays. I am fluent in English and Spanish, and next year I'm starting French classes and can't wait. I love soccer because the feeling of working through ups and downs, time with teammates, and doing something I love brings me immense joy. I love playing against hard teams, scoring big goals, and even going to practices. As a teammate, I am a leader and enjoy being team captain to support my teammates. I consider myself someone who hustles and never want the game to end. Playing makes me so happy! The reason I want to go to college is so I can continue my learning. I hear that college is fun and I want to have my own experience and make my own memories! I want to hold a degree in my hands with my name on it that says I've earned an education and I did it so I can go get a job that I love. I also play basketball, am in advanced math and working ahead from my class. I want coaches to know that I always want to have respect for myself, respect for the sport, and that sportsmanship should always be #1.
