If you were to ask my coaches about me, they would tell you I leave it all on the field. I work hard--I love the game of soccer and being part of a team. Pink eye, mono, ankle sprains: you name it! None of these have stopped me from trying out or playing my hardest because I make no excuses. Somehow I dig and make it work where others might not want to put in the effort. There's nothing better than being part of a team that is able to come together on the field and accomplish something as a group, regardless of our differences off the field. I have had such amazing coaches, both as part of my club soccer experience at La Roca and my time playing and starting on varsity for the last 3 years at Timpanogos High School. One of the greatest things I have learned from all of my coaches is the value of hard work, not only on the field, but also in life. It's important to be a well-rounded person and to have goals on and off the field. It hasn't always come easy for me--I've had to work for every minute on the field and in the class room. I love this game and look forward to being able to play at the next level. What makes me different? I never give up. I am focused. I am able to have fun but also learn those hard lessons along the way that make you a stronger, better player and person. To me it's important to be a great player, but to be that great player, you have to work hard at being the best version of yourself and that's what I am trying to be everyday.
