I'm originally from Chicago and have moved around quite a few times. I'm used to playing on different teams and have had lots of different coaches and teammates and even playing levels. I've learned things that I like and what I want in a future team environment, as well as what I don't want. For example, I want the girls to get along (for the most part). I want coaches to be structured but not mean, and I enjoy constructive feedback but don't want to be yelled at and criticized all the time. I'm hoping for a college team where the girls enjoy spending time together outside of practice and games knowing I very well will be attending school away from home and family.
I love playing soccer because it's a sport where I have to learn how to be a team-player, work hard, and go after my goals. College soccer is something I've always wanted to pursue, and I don't want to be finished at the end of high school. I love high level intensity and want to experience that next tier challenge. I would describe myself as the game-changer. I tend to raise the energy, toughness and competitive level when I step on the field. My speed gives our team an option to play me into space and stretch the game if we need to. My teammates would describe me as vocal who can help keep our structure on the field and communicate easily. I have no problem holding my teammates accountable in the moment and will let them know when they have more to give. While some might hear me and think I'm too harsh, my coach and teammates will tell you they love it. I hold myself to really high standards and will take self-responsibility. If I'm not playing well, I can take hearing that and even understand when I need to come off the field. I want whatever is best for our team to be successful!
I'm an all-honors and AP student who gets all of my work done well, and on-time. My school is just as important as my soccer career; I want to be a Financial Advisor. My uncle owns his own business in financial advising, and I have watched his work ethic and passion over the years and really respect him. I think it could be a career that is challenging and rewarding where I wouldn't hate my job forever. Within my school, I participate in a lot of school clubs including NEHS, FBLA, DECA, assisting in pet adoptions and Educators Rising. Like a normal teenager, I enjoy hanging out with my friends, listening to music and reading. I'm a romance-mystery fanatic! My favorite food is salad, my favorite color is orange, and I love cows. I even have a painting in my bedroom.
