My goal in college is to play soccer for a division 1 team while majoring in chemistry and minoring in Spanish. I work extremely hard to improve myself in both school and sports by taking advanced classes and excelling in all of them. Currently, I am on track to graduate with an advanced diploma with a weighted GPA of over 4.3 and an SAT score of 1500.
One of the most important things soccer has taught me is how to deal with varying personalities and what the best way to communicate with them is. As a center back, I am constantly talking to my teammates, so this skill is very important in order to set up my team for success. Additionally, soccer has allowed me to learn leadership and to take the initiative which has made me an overall better person. Every time I play I feel as it is a way to prove what I can do for my team and myself.
