Maya Dixon '24 Recruiting Profile

My colligate goals and aspirations are to get a college degree while I am playing a sport that I love.  I want to show my younger sisters that if you work hard you can accomplish your goals. What makes me a good candidate for a team is that I am a very funny person, I get along well with people, and am very hard working when it comes to the things I want. I am used to the constant moving and traveling so I would adapt fast to the constant moving or traveling for games. I am very independent when it comes reaching my goals but I love creating bonds with my teammates so we can grow together. I am different  from other athletes because I strive for whats best for my team and I am supportive of all decisions made. My character is very outgoing but I am very blunt about things. I do not like to sugar coat things that can be beneficial for my teammates . As far as my academics I work hard but I am not an honor roll student, school has always been a little hard for me but I am always determinate to accomplish my goals of getting good grades and pulling through for my teammates.
