Whether it be academics or athletics. I have always tried to maintain a high standard of productivity. I am currently an active member of our student government, and I have taken numerous honors-level courses throughout high school. This year I am also taking multiple AP courses as well. I also maintain a part-time job outside of school. I currently have an unweighted 4.0 GPA in high school while playing multiple sports (soccer, volleyball, track, cross country, and basketball). I have carried this initiative to the soccer field as well. For my travel team, I have been asked to play forward, midfield, defender, and even goalkeeper. My goal has always been to find the place where I can help the most and best suit my team's needs. My high school and travel coaches currently believe I am best suited to play center back for their teams. I believe what makes me different than most is that I am able to adapt to different play styles and positions for different teams. Even as a center back I scored 5 goals in my sophomore season for my high school team. I have always been able to play and adapt my other skills to multiple positions. This is also something I believe makes me an excellent academic candidate for any college or university. Being able to adapt and adjust to a new environment while maintaining a high level of productivity on the field and in the classroom is something that I will rely on heavily going forward. I am truly so excited at the possibility of continuing to play soccer at the collegiate level and I look forward to meeting and speaking with you in the future.
