Katelyn Monteverde '22 Recruiting Profile

Hello, Katelyn here! I love soccer. I’m known for my speed and intensity and have been playing since I was six years old, travel since 8. I like to think I’m a versatile player and a very strong defender.  I play center back, outside defense and I also play outside offense and striker. My coach often puts me in high-pressure situations where time is almost out and defense or a goal is needed. I play several positions on the field as needed by my coach.  I like to think of myself as someone she can rely on. My home team Hurricanes 03/02 White CCL 1. I also guest play in tournaments for for Hurricanes Black  03 Va State Champions.  I also recently played last season for Northern  Region ODP team for Virginia. I was chosen to play in both tournaments.   I would love to play college soccer it is been a big part of my life for so long and it would be so cool to continue it.  I hope to meet you soon at a tournament or game to come and watch me play!
