Cailynn Monnoyer '28 Recruiting Profile

Hello, my name is Cailynn Monnoyer. I am 15 years old and will be entering the 10th grade where I will be attending Hampton Roads Academy located in Newport News VA. I have been recently been selected to the 07/08 VA Reign ECNL team. I am also part of the VA ODP team where I was selected to the district, state, international, and regional team.  It has always been my dream to compete in soccer at the collegiate level.  I consider myself a leader on and off the pitch and have had the privilege of being named team captain for my clubs teams. As an 9th grader I am a starting Varsity LW and CB for my high school.  As a 13 year old Varsity soccer player, I was selected player of the match on MaxPreps in the spring of 2023 and was the teams 2nd leading goal scorer with 9 goals helping my team finish the season with a record of 7-6-2. I am comfortable using both feet on the ball. My best positions are Winger and Attacking Mid; however, I am capable of being highly effective at any position with the exception of Goal Keeper. I am willing to do anything I can for the teams success.  I am the youngest of 5 siblings who is being raised in a strong Christian home. It is very important to me to encourage my teammates and lead by example. I am the first one on the pitch and the last one off the pitch. I will do whatever needs to be done for the success of my teams. I regularly volunteer in my community and at the church that I attend. As a homeschool student it is imperative that I manage my time independently which will prove helpful at the collegiate level.
