Madeline Drye '19 Recruiting Profile

    My name is Maddy Drye. I currently attend South Whidbey High School, and I have been playing soccer for 11 years now.  Soccer has always been something that I would say is a core part of my life. It has been something that I could drive myself in and push myself to my limit, and continue to extend that limit. I can't remember a time before I had a ball at my feet. To me, soccer has been more than just a sport I play. It has been an opportunity for me to grow as a person, and a leader. I am a much more vocal and confident person, and now feel fully comfortable leading my teammates on and off the game field. Being in such a team sport has taught me the necessity of having good relationships with others, and that my team is like my second family.
