Madysen Smith '20 Recruiting Profile

My name is Maddy Smith and I have been playing soccer since I was  (five) 5 years old.  I have played  competitive and then club level soccer since I was  (nine) 9.  I was a Team Captain for my Club soccer team (Wenatchee United SC for the last three (3) years that I played.  I  have always loved the game and the challenges that come with soccer.  I played on my High School team (Wenatchee Panthers) in Wenatchee Washington since my Freshman year.  I played half a season on JV and then half on Varsity.  I was on Varsity my Sophmore, Junior, and just ended my Senior season.  I was Team Captain this past season and made First Team All Conference for the Big 9 this year and was Second team my junior year.  I love watching the game unfold and being able to get involved and make big moves to change the course of it when needed.  I am very much a team player and leader on and off the field.  I have been blessed to have a very strong and accurate left foot that seems to catch alot of goalies off guard.  Academically I am wanting to go into counseling.  I have not decided yet what type of counseling, but I love to help people and am  hopeful that counseling will allow me to do that. 

I enjoy meeting new people and making new friends, being part of a team, sharing the skills that I have and learning from others. I have determination and the will to win. I am excited and hopeful that I can be an asset to any team that I am fortunate enough to be able to be a part of.
