Soccer is a very important part of my life. I've been playing since I was four years old. I’m a very determined, and a hard-working player and strive for my goals. Soccer is my safe space. I'm always willing to work hard to get better and stronger.
This fall I was named 1 of 2 captains for our varsity team.
I play attacking midfield and center midfield, I love having the ball on my foot, the ability to make plays and pass the ball. I love the opportunity to play defense as well and show my team/coaches I can play hard both ways. I'm a Junior (2026) and I attend Musselman High School. I'm a starter on the varsity team. I also play for 2008 West Virginia Soccer Club playing the same positions. My team is like my family, I have a strong bond with my teammates and coaches in travel and high school. I'm doing off season conditioning 2-3x/wk to increase my strength/speed, looking to improve any way I can and have started working with a personal coach to improve my skill, touches and confidence. My family is very supportive of me and comes to every game no matter the drive.
In spring 2025 I have always wanted to run track so I did and it's gone very well. I run individually in the 400M and I'm in the top 10 for WV 4A, my 4x400 relay team broke the school record this season, our 4x800 relay team is #3 in 4A and my 4x200 team is also in the top 10. It has been very fun and allowed me to find another avenue to have me time and a small break from soccer.
I'm an honors student with a 4.5 GPA, I'm looking to major in nursing/pre-med. I balance school with soccer and speed & agility training, because of that I have a busy schedule. I danced for 12 years which helped me learn constructive criticism. I chose soccer over dance because I understood in order to reach my goals I needed to spend my time working on my game. In the game I think of what's best for me and my team, teamwork can make or break a game. I'm a very vocal and supportive player. The mental part of the game is very important, which is why I try to challenge myself and stay positive on the field. I'm hoping to be named captain of my high school team this fall (my junior year), I feel I'm a good leader.
I’m hoping to look for a college that fits my academic and athletic career.
