Soccer is a very important part of my life. I've been playing since I was four years old. I’m a very determined, and a hard-working player and strive for my goals. Soccer is my safe space. I'm always willing to work hard to get better and stronger.
I play attacking midfield, left wing, and striker. I'm a sophomore and I attend Musselman High School. I'm a starter on the varsity team. I also play for 2008 West Virginia Soccer Club playing the same positions. My team is like my family, I have a strong bond with my teammates and coaches in travel and high school. I'm doing off season conditioning 2-3x/wk to increase my strength/speed, looking to improve any way I can and have started working with a personal coach to improve my skill, touches and confidence. My family is very supportive of me and comes to every game no matter the drive.
I'm an honors student with a 4.125 GPA, I'm looking to major in nursing/pre-med. I balance school with soccer and speed & agility training, because of that I have a busy schedule. I danced for 12 years which helped me learn constructive criticism. I chose soccer over dance because I understood in order to reach my goals I needed to spend my time working on my game. In the game I think of what's best for me and my team, teamwork can make or break a game. I'm a very vocal and supportive player. The mental part of the game is very important, which is why I try to challenge myself and stay positive on the field. I'm hoping to be named captain of my high school team this fall (my junior year), I feel I'm a good leader.
I’m hoping to look for a college that fits my academic and athletic career.
