Personal Statement

College Goals and Aspirations: I would like to make an immediate, positive impact for my team through my actions and performance.  I plan to continue to demonstrate excellent work ethic and be a positive team player.  I would like to continue to develop my skills in college and improve each year in order to be a team leader wherever I am needed.  I plan to continue being involved in soccer after I graduate from college.  I would love to be able to play in city leagues and possibly help coach youth athletics.  My ultimate goal is to develop leadership skills on and off the field in order to help  me pursue a career in medicine.

Why am I a good candidate for your team:  I understand that my work ethic, positive attitude and skill level will help to enhance the teams performance.    I am an extremely competitive individual and strive to be the best I possibly can be.  I am not afraid to put in extra time to achieve my goals and aspirations.  I am willing to do what is best for the team.

What makes me different from other recruits (Academics):  I maintain a high GPA, know how to study, and know that who I surround myself  with will mold my academic progression.

What makes me different from other recruits (Athletics):  I am literally willing to go the "extra mile" to play the sport I love.  My sophomore year I wanted to be a part of the Wisconsin ODP team.  In order to do this I had to travel 4-6 hours to attend practices or games.  It was a great opportunity for me to improve my skills and to have excellent coaching and I was able to make the state team.   Also, I am blessed to have physical strength, speed and stamina that have been further enhanced by my strong work ethic on the field and in the weight room.  As a player, I am sure footed, dynamic, quick with a ball and not afraid of physical play.

What makes me different from other recruits (Character): I don't want to just fit in, I want to be a leader who will make good decisions on and off the field.  I am highly competitive and my desire to win pushes me to do whatever it takes to reach my goals

By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE.
